Preston has some of the best night out venues in the country. A city that is very student-orientated has resulted in a diverse, exciting mix of pubs, bars and clubs to cater to every taste imaginable.

It was very difficult picking just 5 of the best nights out in Preston, but our list consists of cheap drinks, big laughs and plenty of fun times ahead…

The Adelphi

Situated at the heart of the university campus, The Adelphi pub is certainly a great night out on its own. Almost every day of the week features a themed night including Quiz and Karaoke Mondays, Quids on a Thursday (most drinks just £1) and Cocktail Friday amongst others! Even if you are just wanting a fairly chilled night out with some sport, The Adelphi features 2 big projector screens and numerous TVs making it a hub for almost all major sporting events.

53 Degrees

53 Degrees is one of the top live music venues in the whole of Lancashire. It has seen the likes of Professor Green performing live and is no stranger to great artists and even better performances. This is also one of the best places to watch up and coming bands with a huge 2000 person capacity in total. If you love live music, then 53 Degrees is your place in Preston.

Roper Hall

Described as one of the most popular nights out in all of the city by both students and locals, Roper Hall is a very lively venue with beers from as little £1.50. Get some great pub-grub in the downstairs bar and then dance it all off upstairs with the wide range of club nights that it offers. It is also renowned for being the best place to meet fellow students so don’t miss out!

Kuckoo

Kuckoo is one of the higher-end bars that you will find in Preston but is still extremely student friendly. It specialises in delicious cocktails with any sort of variation that you can think of. Kuckoo does not just stop there with the cocktails, it is also famous for its great music, bar staff and general atmosphere that have people coming back again and again.

The Warehouse

As one of the longest running nightclubs in the whole of the UK, it goes without saying that The Warehouse has plenty of experience when it comes to providing the best nights out for its guests. Once a live venue to The Stone Roses, The Warehouse nowadays is huge club with three floors of extremely diversified music. It has a selection of themed club nights too which provide for every type of music lover in the city.
