Leeds Trinity was originally set up as a teacher training college, but since gaining university status now provides degrees in business, education, humanities, psychology and sport, with a reputation for being one of the leading providers of journalism training in the country. Leeds Trinity is dedicated to providing high quality career focussed teaching and ensures that every undergraduate degree includes a professional work placement. The university is located in Horsforth on the outskirts of Leeds, and is just a short bus or train journey into the city centre. Trinity is based around a spacious leafy green campus which incorporates all halls of residence, teaching spaces, and student facilities, including state of the art media and enterprise centres. A range of accommodation types are available on campus and are offered to all first year students. There is a choice of self catered and part catered rooms with cleaning services and free wifi. The campus also houses a food court, cafe, campus bar and lively students union, and there is a convenient, free shuttle bus which runs between Horsforth railway station and campus.
