Experience Varsity

Most Universities host a varsity event, but very few universities have as fierce a rivalry as the Uni of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam. Each year they battle it out for the bragging rights of the city. The universities compete in huge venues including Hillsborough and Sheffield Arena. Currently the University of Sheffield are reigning champions for the 6th year in a row. Something that Hallam students will be looking to put right next year. Although fiercely competitive the atmosphere around varsity remains fun and perfect for a night out with your flat mates.

Find a bargain around Broomhill

Broomhill is a vibrant hub of Sheffield’s student community. So it is no surprise that you can grab a bargain around here. The area is packed with charity and vintage shops, with prices at a fraction of that of shops in the city centre and Meadowhall. So when you receive the text from student finance be sure to visit Broomhill.
