Glasgow Caledonian is based around a modern hi tech campus in the centre of Glasgow. The university offers career focussed study programmes, encouraging students to develop contacts with business and industry professionals in order to develop realistic career prospects. At the heart of campus are two innovative spaces - the Saltire Centre, a state of the art learning zone incorporating the main library with both quiet and social study areas, and Arc, a health and fitness facility with gyms, multi purpose halls, dance studio and health spa. The campus at Caledonian is designed to get people together, and the university has developed two Real Learning Cafes where students can take a more relaxed approach to learning by getting together over a coffee at group tables and bar height study areas, complete with sofas and flat screen terminals.
